SMACO Pipe Bundling Machine are Fully Automatic for Round pipe Hexagonal Bundle, Square / Rectangular Bundle, U-channel auto packing with channel turn over, and special non symmetrical bundle shape to optimise container loading for export.

 

For pipe with end coupling, system allows alternate layer pipe end off-set for optimum packing dimension.

 

MACHINE FEATURE

 

Auto Packing Machine size range ½” to 8”, length 4m to 12m, suitable for black pipe, galvanised pipe and colour coated pipe.

 

Design to receive pipe from mill with Up Chain Conveyor, pipe Counting, pipe End Alignment and pipe Layer Transfer to packing stand.

 

Packing stand shall lower gradually to receive pipe layer until bundle is full. All system are Fully Automatic with PLC for pipe size and bundle shape entry.

 

PIPE LAYER TRANSFER

- By Transfer Blade activated by pneumatic or hydraulic depending on weight of pipe

- By Magnet with Servo Drive control for layer transfer

 

BUNDLE DISCHARGE

Depending on factory space and mill layout

- Side Discharge, with bundle trolley remove bundle from packing stand, this allow packing stand to move up and continue packing new bundle

- End Discharge, packing stand lower until bundle sit on roller conveyor to transfer bundle out from packing stand

 

BUNDLE STRAPPING

- Fully Automatic bundle strapping with auto strap feeding and overlapped strap pressed to tighten

- Manual with pneumatic hand held strapping machine

 

After strapping, pipe bundle shall be removed by bundle chain conveyor for temporarily storage while waiting for crane
